Unlimited snapshooting with Shutter

If what’s stopping you from snapping more photos or videos is your mobile device’s limited storage capacity, there’s an app that should encourage you to keep on snapshooting like there’s no tomorrow. StreamNation, provider of unified and simple cloud storage solutions for preserving digital media, previously released Shutter, currently iOS-only and already available as a free download, what it calls an infinity camera app that lets you snap photos and videos without having to worry you’ll run out of space, as your precious snapshots are uploaded and backed up automatically directly into the cloud. Leveraging on StreamNation’s straightforward cloud storage services, the Shutter app offers unlimited cloud storage for your camera roll absolutely free!

Shutter originally allows only up to 5GB for storage within the app, but has since lifted this limit, probably taking cue from Amazon’s recent announcement of its free unlimited cloud storage for photos. While Shutter is primarily a camera and media storage app, aside from the customary filters, it lets you share your snapshots to your network of family and friends privately by default, as well as to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, without limits on the size and number of photos or videos.

With a beautifully designed interface, your timeline in Shutter lets you browse through your photos and videos with just one click, and since your camera roll is safely stored in the cloud, your snapshots don’t take up any space on your mobile device. You can also set the app to send you a daily or weekly email retrospective of your photos and videos taken in prior years.

Aside from the unlimited cloud storage that Shutter offers at no cost, there are absolutely no annoying ads. Through the Shutter app, StreamNation hopes to convince users to explore their media storage platform and sign up to their paid cloud services.

Now there’s no stopping you from snapshooting, so download Shutter  for your iOS device (the Android version’s coming soon) and enjoy uploading and sharing your photos and videos in the cloud!
